It depends on where the car is and what it's worth. For a standard road-going car, RoRo is usually the lower-cost option: the car is driven onto the vessel at a European port and driven off at Jeddah Islamic Port. For a high-value, classic or non-running car, a container with wheel bracing gives better protection. If the car is inland, we arrange pickup in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and other European countries. Saudi Arabia sets its own import requirements for cars, including age and specification rules, so check that the car qualifies and that the paperwork is complete before it sails. Cars for Jeddah load at the main European departure ports and arrive at Jeddah Islamic Port on the Red Sea coast. We confirm the departure port and the sailing schedule for your shipment once the booking is placed.

Before the car sails, we prepare the export papers on the European side. On arrival, we help with customs clearance in Jeddah and tell you which documents the Saudi side asks for, so the file is complete in time.
